About Me

Linda Paredes began her career as a hairstylist and colorist unconventionally.   At age 20, lacking interest in college and life, in general, she enrolled in a small beauty school in her hometown of Tucson, Arizona.  Linda’s beauty school experience was lackluster, and she completed the program only through determination and the need to finish something.   While in the final months of her education, a friend introduced her to a local Tony & Guy affiliate, where they had an opening for a receptionist.  Reluctantly, she took the job.

Linda’s experience at Toni & Guy was not an easy pathway, but eventually, with encouragement and a mentor, she earned an apprenticeship at the famed salon.  She was surrounded by incredibly talented people, each with a mountain of knowledge that, while inspiring, was also overwhelming.   Linda discovered that talent was not a simple task learned, but a highly skilled form of art nurtured from frustration, failures, and hard work.  In the beginning, thoughts of quitting filled her mind more so than the idea that she was building a future.  Encouraged by her friends, colleagues, and mentor, Linda persevered, turning what she thought would be a part-time gig into a passion and career.

After months of hard work, Linda earned a “chair” at Toni & Guy, becoming a member of the team.  She took advantage of ongoing education and fell in love with coloring hair.   She discovered that excelling as both a stylist and colorist created a valuable combination in the profession.  Linda’s advancing skillset made her not only one of the principal stylists but also paved the way for her to become a leading instructor in the T&G salon system.  Elevated by this success, Linda sought out more opportunities for education and traveled across the United States, both increasing her knowledge of the industry and teaching her craft.

Now for more than 20 years, Linda has been an influential style maker and one of the most in-demand hairstylists and colorists in Tucson, Arizona.  Linda’s method of styling and color is to discover a person’s character and reflect the harmony between beauty and self.   She believes that style and color should not mimic current fashion trends, but complement an individual’s personality with their lifestyle.
